ShelfSignal turns deliberate page captures and fresh in-store verification into location-aware leads. It never treats a retailer webpage, a similar image, or an old stock label as proof that an item is on the shelf.
Capture missions
Ask for one exact item at one exact store—even in another city.
A mission lasts 48 hours and hides the requester’s identity. Nearby opted-in members can be notified, or you can share a requester-hidden link with someone already near the store. They can contribute without a paid plan. An approved community observation earns three promotional lookup credits; the first qualifying mission match adds two more for a total of five. The requester gets the verified result through enabled alerts.

Verify it at the store
A store check records the exact printed barcode, shelf price, stock count, fresh product photo, and current store location. No Amazon seller account is required.

Calculate resale economics
The shopper enters current Amazon price, fees, and eligibility manually or uses an available seller-account connection. Similar images and titles do not count as an exact match.

Review, reward, and deliver
ShelfSignal can approve a store-only mission result without making a profit claim. A public deal alert also needs an exact Amazon match and current economics, and expires quickly.

Private extension captures never become community signals automatically. The contributor must complete the in-store workflow, explicitly consent to sharing the store facts, and pass moderation.
Read the privacy boundaries
